Our Team

Nicky Przychodna
Founder / Managing Director
I worked as a senior manager and trainer from 1995 to the end of 2015, when a cancer diagnosis led me leave the management sector and pursue this path instead, before it was too late. I am very conscious of time now!
During my career I trained in person-centred counselling, hynoptherapy and NLP and achieved qualifications in Health and Social Care, Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and Business Management, amongst others.
I have always had a thirst for knowledge and a passion for sharing that knowledge with as many people as possible, in whatever way they can relate to.
When not working on Mawatynki I love to read and research various subjects, especially nutrition and its effects on mental health, and Dementia.
I enjoy spending time with and walking our dogs, travelling, cooking and just doing anything creative.

Bart Przychodny
Founder / Director
Originally from the city of Poznan in Poland, I have lived and worked in the UK for over 20 years.
I used to work alongside the NHS as a non-emergency ambulance driver, which is where Nicky and I met, and did this for about 10 years.
I have experience of Alzheimer’s Disease as my father was diagnosed with it in 2010 and passed away in 2015.
When I’m not working or helping with Mawatynki, I like to travel and spend time walking with the dogs. I have a keen interest in world politics and economics, and I also love to cook. My biggest hobby is aviation; I’m a plane fanatic and love flying. One day, I hope to touch the sky in my own plane!

Sian Przychodna
Social Media Officer
I have worked in various sectors of the care industry, including being a senior co-ordinator for a large care company, however caring for people who had a form of Dementia, a learning disability, or both, were the times I enjoyed the most.
When not working on Mawatynki I enjoy spending time with my dogs and being out in nature, astronomy and astrology, reading, and exploring the spiritual side of life. I am a keen photographer and also enjoy taking my telescope out to view the night skies.
I am looking forward to meeting you all on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Ben Reid
Technical Assistance
I work as a freelance graphic designer and also build and repair computers.
When not working on Mawatynki, I like to spend my time learning about anything related to computers. I also enjoy dog sitting for my friend, gaming, listening to music and spending time with my friends and family.

Mark Hibbitts
Proofreader/Fact Checker
Hi, I’m the resident fact-checker for Mawatynki, ensuring all the website’s video content is factually correct for our members.
I’ve been involved in marketing as a copywriter and consultant for many years, and currently run an advertising agency. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve had 4 children’s books published as well as writing a guidebook to safe and effective exercise during and after pregnancy.
When I’m not working, I enjoy riding Harley-Davidsons, working out, eating, and the occasional single malt

Larry A. Griner
Family Care Liaison Officer
I moved from California back to Baltimore to relieve my brother and care for our 90 year old mother, Norma, who had Alzheimer’s .
This temporary plan eventually turned into a long-term commitment of over 6 years, until her passing in 2022.
I began recording videos of mom singing and enjoying music whilst interacting with others on our regular outings; posting these on social media gained a worldwide fan-base for mom.
Through the videos, I found out that playing and singing familiar music could not only help mom’s mood and create some magic in our lives, but it also inspired other caregivers on how to help their loved one suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.
Mom still has fans from all over the world who have sent messages of encouragement and gratitude for her videos, which I continue to share as my therapy, and to keep mom’s legacy alive.
I hope to continue helping new and existing caregivers with advice on supporting themselves, and their loved ones, through their journey with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
Larry is committed to advocating for those who care for a loved one with a form of dementia and has spoken publicly on tv, podcasts and at conferences about the needs of caregivers themselves.
Larry will be joining us on our closed Facebook group, Mawatynki Members, to offer his insight, support and guidance on the emotional impact of caring for a loved one.
