Charity
KayChanel was a very loving and giving person who tried to brighten the day of everyone she met, even when she was suffering herself. She loved her mum and always wanted to take care of her. She also absolutely loved all animals and had her own little menagerie, comprising hamsters, Whiskers the cat, Willow the dog plus the neighbour’s animals!
Bart and I have always felt there is too much suffering in the world and have often talked about how nice it would be if we could alleviate even just a small piece of it.
With this in mind, we will be donating 30% of our share of the profits to charity.
The donations will be broken down as follows:
10% to Dementia support groups
10% to Young Carer groups
10% to animal sanctuaries and charities
We would like the donations to go to small, local groups rather than large nationals, as we feel the money would be better served this way and would have a much more direct impact where it is needed.
If you are aware of any of the above groups in your area and feel you would like to nominate them to receive a donation, please do contact us and let us know who, where and why. We will only accept nominations by email.
Charitable donations will begin six months after the launch of Mawatynki.
