Training & Support for Dementia Carers

From a background in managing and training professional carers, it was apparent to us just how hit and miss our current system of training really is. Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and similar life-limiting conditions are complex with many varying aspects. As a carer, your role is critical, with unique challenges every day. A lot of carers face this struggle without adequate training.

We wanted to address this so have developed an ongoing series of videos for both professional and family carers which support, educate and develop skills, making your lives, and the lives of those you care for, just that little bit easier.

Our Videos

Our training videos cover a wide range of topics on Training & Support for Dementia Carers, from effective communication and memory to managing challenging behaviors and reducing stress. All of our videos have been created by our experienced trainers, and have been produced in a format that makes the information easy to take in and retain.

Having the information you need in video format makes it user-friendly and easily accessible; you can access the specific support you need from anywhere, at any time and watch at your own pace.

Frequently asked questions

Who are Mawatynki?

Please read our story on our About Mawatynki page.

Am I permitted to share the videos?

You are permitted to share any or all of the three free videos onto your social media platforms, however you are not permitted to share any of the videos which are behind the paywall.

For the avoidance of doubt, you are not permitted to share any of the Pay Per View videos.

Do you offer special pricing for organisations?

Not right now, however this is something we will be looking to provide in the future.

Please get in touch, using our contact form, if this is something you would be interested in.

Can I ask you for advice?

You are invited to join our Facebook community. This is a private group and we will aim to answer any questions you may have there. You can also follow us on Instagram. Click the icons to be taken to our pages.

So how does it work?

You will need to log in to watch the videos which are behind the paywall.

You can watch 1 video for £1/1€ or 10 videos for £6/7€ via the purchase of tokens.

One token grants you access to the video page, rather than the video itself.

This means you can pause, rewind or watch the video more than once whilst you are on the page, however leaving that particular page, either by clicking onto the next video link or logging out of the website, will cause your token to expire.

There is no time restriction on when you watch the videos.

We have chosen to offer the videos on a token based system, rather than monthly subscription, in order to contain our costs.

This allows us to offer the videos at a price which is accessible to everyone, whilst protecting and maximizing any donations made to your chosen charities.
